Dear Friend,

Peace be upon you! I ask of God that you, your family, friends, and community will be blessed, find joy, peace, and eternal hope! Having been to South East Asia to visit friends, I was so inspired, healed, and shown tremendous hospitality by many Muslim people and families. Thank you for the honor that you show, of which I deeply respect and learn from. Thank you for the modesty in your community, which is so refreshing and helpful. Finally, thank you for seeking the truth and preparing yourself for the Judgement Day. This is why I write to you, as the Qur’an says in Sura Yunus, iat 94….. to “ask those who read the Scripture.” A kind Muslim man told me on this trip, “We don’t know how to get to Heaven and the Imam doesn’t know how to get to Heaven.” This should not be! The person of Abraham shows eternal hope, by-his-faith!

How the Qur’an and the Scripture Speak to Some Important Topics

Maryam ibnat Imran (Arabic: نارمع ةَنْبٱ ميرم, Maryam ʾibnat ʿImrān), the mother of Isa (Jesus), Mary (English), is said in the Qur’an and the Scripture to be the virgin Mother of Jesus.

Sura Ali ‘Imran, iats 45-46 نيبرقملا نمو

“The Angels said, “O Mary, God gives you good news of a Word from Him. His name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, well-esteemed in this world and the next, and one of the nearest.” Messiah means the “Anointed One,” who will save His people, from their sins.

“He will speak to the people from the crib, and in adulthood, and will be one of the

٤٧ ضق اذإ ءاشي ام قلخي اللَّ كلذك لاق رشب ينسسمي ملو دلو يل نوكي ىنأ بر تلاق ارمأ ى هل لوقي امنإف

“She said, “My Lord, how can I have a child, when no man has touched me?” He said, “It will be so. God creates whatever He wills. To have anything done, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.”

—————————————-
Matthew 1: 21-23, in Scripture
“And she will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.” So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, a virgin will be with child, and will bear a Son, and they will
call His name Immanuel,” which being translated is, “God with us.”

Jesus showed the people, who He was, by the miracles He performed towards them, as read in the Qur’an and the Scripture.

Sura al-Ma’idah, iat 110

“When God will say, “O Jesus son of Mary, recall My favor upon you and upon your mother, how I supported you with the Holy Spirit. You spoke to the people from the crib, and in maturity. How I taught you the Scripture and wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel. And recall that you molded from clay the shape of a bird, by My leave, and then you breathed into it, and it became a bird, by My leave. And you healed the blind and the leprous, by My leave;
and you revived the dead, by My leave. And recall that I restrained the Children of Israel from you when you brought them the clear miracles. But those who disbelieved among them said, `This is nothing but obvious sorcery.’”

As quoted in the Qur’an, “Gospel” literally means “good news.”
In the Scripture, it states in Mark 1: 14-15, “Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Metanoia*, and believe the gospel.” *Metanoia is based off the original Koine Greek* word of the Scripture. “Meta” means “change” and “noia” means “mind.” So “metanoia” literally means in the original language, “change your mind.” In the Qur’an and the Scripture, you’ll find the word, “repent.” When you see the word “repent,” think “rethink,” because that is what it means in the original Koine Greek* word the Scripture was written in. “Believe the gospel,” as stated in Mark 1:15, means to believe that Jesus achieved Himself all the merit, good works, and righteousness needed to forgive your sins, by his all-sufficient sacrifice, in His deep love for you and me. “Believe the gospel,” as stated
in Mark 1:15, means to not try to earn God’s favor by your good deeds, turning from all your sins, and hard work to follow God. While these things are good, Īsā al-Masīḥ ْحيسملاْىسيع , made it very clear in Scripture Matthew 5:48, “Be perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.” You and I are very far from being perfect and holy, because of our sins we have done against the perfect and holy God. The only way we can be perfect, is to place
our faith in the one who already was perfect, without sin, Īsā al-Masīḥ ْحيسملاْىسيع , Jesus
the Messiah! 🙂 See the Scripture in 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4, for the full gospel message.

———————————
Mark 2: 5-13 in Scripture

“When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” However some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned like this within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason these things in your hearts?” Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’?” But that you may know that the Son of Man* has authority on earth to forgive sins,” He said to the paralytic, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in front of them all, so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!” Then He went out again by the sea; and all the crowds came to Him, and He taught them.” *Jesus had the authority of God to forgive sins. “Son of Man,” is shown in the Hebrew* Old Testament Scripture, pointing to Jesus in the Greek* New Testament Scripture, to be the Messiah and Savior of all the world, to those who place their faith in Him and what He did.

The Qur’an and the Scripture mention that Jesus was upright and perfect man.
٥ نيحلاصلا نم لك سايلإو ى

ra al-An’am, iat 85
“And Zechariah, and John, and Jesus, and Elias—every one of them was of the upright.”
———————————
1 Peter 2:22, in Scripture
“And Zechariah, and John, and Jesus, and Elias—every one of them was of the upright.” “Who
did no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth.”

The Qur’an and the Scripture make it very clear, the Judgement Day is coming for each person on the earth. One must be righteous and perfect by God’s standard, to enter the Paradise by which He has created. Are you ready for Judgment Day? Have you received the gift God has done, as a result of the all-sufficient and satisfying sacrifice that God accepts from what Jesus has accomplished? Remember, Abraham offered his son for sacrifice but instead, God provided a ram! So also, we should have paid for our sin but God’s Messenger Isa / Jesus took our place!

So Peace is upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the Day I get resurrected alive.”

Sura Maryam, iat 33,34,36,37  ٣٣ ايح ثعبأ مويو تومأ مويو تدلو موي يلع ملَسلاو

“That is Jesus son of Mary—the Word of truth about which they doubt.”

“But the various factions differed among themselves. So woe to those who disbelieve from the scene of a tremendous Day.”

In the Scripture, it states
Hebrews 10:30-31;
“Because, we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The LORD will judge His people.” “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

Hebrews 9: 26-28,
“He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear “So Peace is upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the Day I get resurrected alive.” the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him, He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.”

Jesus said in Matthew 10: 28,
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather reverence (or fear) Him (God) who is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell.”

My Dear Friend,
It is my honor, high esteem, and privilege to share with you a few chapters in the Scripture, as the Qur’an mentioned to do, in Sura Yunus, iat 94. Accuracy of God’s word is very important, as you know. I take this very, very seriously, as one who “reads the Scripture.” Focusing on the life of Abraham, there are a few chapters of the Scripture to read on how he was made right with God – by his faith. This is from the New King James Version of the Scripture, a translation very close to the original language of the Masoretic text of the authoritative Hebrew and Aramaic Old Testament Torah and Scriptures, as well as the original language of the authoritative Koine Greek of the New Testament Scripture (*see below).

Please invite some family and / or friends to join you, in this Discovery Scripture Study, to learn together what the Scripture teaches about Abraham – a man of faith: Please read one chapter at a time out loud, all the way through the chapter. The chapters are Genesis 1,2,3, & 15 (verse 6 especially); Romans 4; Galatians 3; & James 2. Please go to blueletterbible.org/nkjv/gen/1 to read and/or listen to the “NKJV” Scripture, click “Listen…”. Then, read the chapter a second time out loud. Ask these questions below and answer them as a group, one by one after reading. Not every question may be answered, this is to help guide the discussion. A Jewish Rabbi, a Christian Professor, & Muslim Cleric answer: “Do you teach how Abraham was justified
by faith?” : bit.ly/Abraham123 (Scripture over what anyone says). Muslim finds forgiveness now, before Day of Judgement: bit.ly/Forgiveness321

  • What are some observations you have? What stood out to you in the reading?
  • What do we learn about God? What do we learn about mankind?
  • Is there a promise from God to be believed? Does anything show God’s love?
  • Does anything in this chapter bring honor or shame?
  • Is there any Scripture verse here, that when believed, gives you the promise
  • and assurance of forgiveness of sins or eternal life?
  • Is there a command from God to obey, for my and/or others good? (Obeying God
  • is done out of love, not to earn His favor. Jesus earned all of God’s favor already).
  • Is there anyone I may share something I learned from this Scripture?

Studying the Hebrew and Greek original language of the Scripture is very helpful at times. Please see these sites:
